Federal partnered with HEVI-Shot to produce its new HEVI-Bismuth loads for both waterfowl and upland bird hunters, available in #3, #4 and #5 shot in 2¾- and three-inch shells. The increased density of bismuth over steel when launched at equal speed—expect muzzle velocities of 1,350 to 1,450 fps—translates to increased downrange energy. Both 20- and 12-gauge loads will be offered.
