It’s 9:50 p.m. local time here at Wolf Lake Wilderness Lodge in the Yukon and there’s still plenty of daylight, so it feels kind of strange not to be heading back out onto the water. But we’ve already fished nine hours, our first full day, and there’s still plenty of time during the week ahead to beat the water to well past midnight. Instead, we decided to stay in tonight and compare notes with the other anglers at camp. I’m here with Outdoor Canada Fishing Editor Gord Pyzer and our old fishing buddy Ted Cawkwell, who is doing some marketing consulting for the lodge. We’re all on the board (some more than others), but there’s still plenty of fishing to come. Here’s a sampling from today (see photos). Stay tuned for more.
