Fun and Games at Saskatchewan’s Lloyd Lake Lodge: Saturday Update

I just finished another awesome (large) dinner here at Lloyd Lake Lodge (it was steak night) and we’ll soon be heading out for the evening fish (so, this will be another short update). Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with NHL power forward legend Owen Nolan on Lloyd Lake, crushing the northerns and walleye. No giants in the pike category, but we got a few decent eyes. The National Pro Staff contest winner, Jeff Cigan, and his buddy Andrew McBride also fished Lloyd, while NHLer Keith Aulie, NPS chief Dan Miguel, Grant McAllister and Matt Getzlaf chased lakers on neighbouring Big Fish Lake. Here are a few photos from the day’s fun.
