The extreme cold front brought rain and, frequently, brisk winds making things a bit uncomfortable. But we all had excellent rain gear, and Wes and Sam were real troupers (above). Still, the conditions cost us at least a quarter of our fishing time, due to slower travel and difficult boat control (though it would have been a lot worse if Buck didn’t have such excellent new boats and motors.) Plus, bad weather just plain brings complications (below).
