How a city slicker and a youthful tenderfoot became wilderness masters at Buck Lake Lodge
Camp owner John Moffat gave us an excellent contour map of the lake, and spent a lot of time with us pointing out the good spots and best tactics. But Wes and Sam were pretty inexperienced anglers. They found some baits tough to use, and were still working on basics like setting the hook. And I’ll charitably give my own guiding skills a B-grade (A for effort, C for skill). But once we found our groove, we really started spanking the fish.
