FIRST-AID KIT

At a minimum, your first-aid kit should include two or three sizes of bandages, a couple of sterile gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, adhesive tape and painkillers. You can either compile your own kit or carry one of the compact, economical kits from companies such as Adventure Medical Kits. Be sure to include a supply of any personal medications you’ll need if forced to spend an unplanned night or two in the bush.
