Winter getaway: A family fishing adventure in Myrtle Beach

I think that grin says it all: I’m super-proud to have landed this beast, but now my shoulders are burning. And if I drop it, will it eat my foot? 

By the way, during our week-long visit in Myrtle Beach, the weather was sunny with temperatures over 20°C. But for our single day out on the ocean, the weather turned, and it was an unseasonable 12°C. But as Canadians, we came prepared to bundle up.
