DETAILS: A self-described outdoor fanatic, Rob DeBay says he’s been chasing ring-necked pheasants, wood ducks and white-tailed deer for 50 years—seven of those with his black Lab, Tori, as his faithful hunting companion. “She’s an amazing dog, and it’s a rare moment when she’s not by my side,” he says. “The morning of this hunt, we bagged three drake wood ducks, all brought to hand proudly by my little partner.”
