Modelled after the Russian jig concept, the Freedom Minnow spins erratically when you lift it up through the water column and let it flutter back down. Add in the sound of metal and glass beads hitting the blade, and the presentation is irresistible. Don’t be tempted to tip the chemically sharpened matte-black hook with a minnow head or plastic dressing—that will only interfere with the wild, flashy, fish-tempting wobble. I tested the lure last year and I was amazed at how hard walleye, in particular, hit it. The Freedom Minnow is available in two sizes and five fish-catching colours.
