Details: This happy angler, Mark Falvai, had set out early from Schooner Cove Marina in Nanoose Bay with his good friend and sometime local guide Alistair Bryce, shortly before Bryce took the photo. “When the fish in the pic hit, he took me to the backing on my reel,” Falvai says. “Although this trip was only about three hours long, with such a beautiful morning and great fish, it was my favourite trip last year.”
