Details: Kristi Stokker says her boyfriend was going fishing when he spotted this fawn lying at the side of the road. “Knowing my love for photographing wildlife, he called me…and I got my photos,” she says. “Being avid hunters and knowing about white-tailed deer, we knew his mom had probably left him for the day in a safe spot and would come back for him that night when it was safe. Sure enough, she did.”
