DETAILS: Photographer Diane Doiron enjoyed the evening before last year’s moose opener at the family hunt camp with (right to left) her uncles Robert, Raymond and William Russell and brother Claude Doiron. “We had a wonderful night telling stories and getting ready for the first morning of the moose hunt,” she says, adding she was a little anxious to ask the men for a photo. “When they are hunting, they are hunting.” Fortunately, they agreed to the picture. “I didn’t ask for smiles or poses,” she says. “They stood in front of the camp, and this is the photo.”
