DETAILS: Bruce Frost shot this photo on the final day of moose season as he paddled past the old treestand where he hunted with his father and grandfather as a youngster. “They’re both gone,” he says. “I wish they had been out with me.” Now 42, Frost says he takes photos on his hunting trips to show non-hunters there’s more to it than trying to kill an animal. “It’s also about being surrounded by the beauty of nature.”
