As well as trout, we also targeted pike, including the little chunkster above. And judging from our incidental catches of bass, there are some nice bronzebacks and bucketmouths in the lake as well. (Charleston’s bass season traditionally opens on the third Saturday in June.) And don’t be surprised if you encounter various sunfish, black crappie and whitefish, either.
