I have 10 boxes of shotgun shells that are about 50 years old. I want to sell them, but I haven’t found anyone in my area who is interested. I also have a few boxes of .22 cartridges. Do you have any contacts who might be interested? Thanks.

There are collectors interested in vintage cartridges and cartridge boxes, but as you have discovered, it can be a challenge finding them. My recommendation is to take the ammunition to gun show, where there are usually a couple of cartridge collectors with tables. Or, you could get a table of your own to try selling them. Unfortunately, most gun shows have been canceled due to the ongoing pandemic. The best I can do is to appeal to our readers—if anyone out there is a serious collector, or knows of a collector, please send your contact information to editorial@outdoorcanada.ca.
