Trout treat: Late-season fly fishing in southern Ontario

The club maintains its fish stocks with one of the largest privately-owned trout hatcheries in the province. When we recently visited, club manger (and marine biologist) Jim Oosterbroek was in the process of milking eggs and milt from some of the club’s breeding stock (left). He also paused to show off an exceptional brook trout (right).
