#5  CLEANING

Use mild soap and water to clean mud, blood and any other unwanted material from the crossbow’s stock and assembly, then completely dry everything to prevent discoloration. Clean your scope lenses with a proper lens cloth or pen—never use paper products or a shirt sleeve, which can scratch the expensive and crucial coatings. Also check the focus ring and make sure the reticle and distant targets are clear and focused. After all, having a scope on a crossbow is only an advantage if you can see out of it.
