#9  USE A POP-UP BLIND

For a wide variety of reasons, a modern pop-up ground blind can be very practical on late-season hunts. For starters, it creates a microclimate to keep you warmer, while also blocking the wind—even a slight breeze can have a bite when it’s -15° C or colder. As well, a pop-up helps contain your scent and conceal your movement (just be sure to wear dark layers once you’re inside the blind). Finally, a pop-up is very portable and easy to set up. Always keep it scent free, and tuck it into some natural vegetation for added concealment.
