OC Outdoors: Fresh fish and fast friends in Manitoba

An epic shorelunch

The staff’s hard work and our morning of hard fishing (OK, easy fishing—the walleye just about jumped in the boat), paid off in a massive feast of fresh fish, beans and fried potatoes. Even better was the chance to mingle with all the guests and guides. It was a great reminder that there’s nothing like amazing food in a beautiful setting to break down barriers and bring folks together.
