DETAILS: When the opening of Nova Scotia’s sportfishing season was delayed last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, angler Matt Dort says he was unsure if the season would open at all. “Once it did, my twin brother and I rushed to the river together like we do every year on opening day,” he says, “and we were rewarded with this beautiful brown trout.”
