Where: Aylmer Wildlife Refuge, Ontario

When: March 2015

Details: A serious amateur photographer of nature and wildlife, B.C.’s Neil Weisenburg aims his lens at a variety of species, including various types of birds. “The annual migration of tundra swans from Chesapeake Bay in the eastern U.S. to the Arctic tundra was late in 2015 due to the very harsh winter conditions, which kept much of the water frozen until later in the spring,” he says. “The day the photo was taken, there was a very nice moon in the sky to add to the drama of these birds in flight.” We couldn’t agree more.
