#9: You’ll want, no, NEED to go back
There’s so much to do, so much to see and, of course, so much water to fish that I need to go back. If you like sandy beaches, clear water, towering trees and camping at the edge of a vast wilderness, you’ll be back too.
Finlayson Point Provincial Park has 117 private, well-maintained sites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There’s also a boat basin with docking facilities, ramp and a fish cleaning station. Special thanks to Ontario Parks and, in particular, Temagami area superintendent Kevin Pinkerton for his hospitality. You can reserve campsites at www.ontarioparks.com. To reserve the cabin, call 1-888-668-7275 (1-888-ONT-PARK).
