DETAILS: Hunter Rachel Van Ravenswaay took this family self-portrait, with their house in the background, using a smartphone set on a timer. “I shot the deer about 500 yards from there,” she says. Joining her in the photo are her husband, Taylor, and daughters Hailey (left) and Autumn. “We are all regular hunters and anglers,” she says. “We primarily target all game in our area, and we also trap for fur.”
