DETAILS: Tony LePrieur lay on the ice watching this hungry muskrat feed for about an hour before getting this shot. “It was very skittish,” he says. “The secret to getting close enough for a picture was limiting all my movement to when it was underwater.” When LePrieur finally got up to leave, though, he discovered his clothing had frozen to the ice. “I’m sure I was a funny sight as I wiggled around trying to peel myself off.”
