When we reached the area Gussy wanted to fish, it took a while before he figured out where the bass had moved since conditions during the pre-fish were calmer and warmer. Once he did that, however, he had quite consistent action. With a 15-inch minimum size limit, though, he had a few shorts before he caught his first keeper.
